Romanian Mater's Cup 2019

In October our team was invited to participate in the Romanian Master's Cup 2019 held in the beautiful city of Bucharest .

The event was perfectly organised by Costi Parfenie and Udrea Alina and for its first edition showed some really high level .

Just to mention that special guests , lecturers at the training camp and adjudicators at the festival were non others but the 14 times World Professional Latin champion Gaynor Fairweather and her husband Mirko Saccani !

Grand Team did very good at the competition .

In the solo girls categories Ambra -Raya Seniorini won 1 silver and 1 bronze medal in her international debut in the Juvenile 1 age group, starting from quarterfinals .

Marin Martinov & Diliyana Dimitrova were the absolute winners in the Junior 2 Latin winning all 5 dances ! They left very good impression and after the event the top specialists Gaynor & Mirko mentioned that out of all the couples in the event , Diliyana was the dancer they were most impressed with !

In the Adult Open Latin Britain Bratanov & Kalina Djambazka made it into the final and finished 5th !

After the competition we had half a day to explore Bucharest . It is not our first time in the Romanian capital but for the first time we were staying in the heart of the city and that made it easier to do some sightseeing . A few hours definitely were not enough to see all the beauty Bucharest has to offer but we were so impressed by the architecture , the restaurants , the food and the modern vibe of the city combined with the hospitality of the local people . On the way back home we were already making plans when we will visit Bucharest again .
