Dancing With The Stars ME -week 7
Week 7 on Dancing With The Stars Middle East was the Switch Up week ! That's one of the most interesting weeks on the show because it always offers a lot of emotions for the couples and the audience .
For the people watching it's always exciting to see who is dancing with who and how the new couples will manage to cope with the new partnership and the new routine for only a couple of days.
For the couples it's mixed up feelings in the switch up - some prefer to stay with their own partners while others are curious to try dancing with another partner . As we said - always a full range of emotions during the switch up week , from fun to drama ! This season it was even more stressful because the couples didn't know in advance whether there will be elimination or not on the night and whether they will go back to their partners after this week .
The remaining 7 couples performed variety of ballroom and latin dances including waltz, tango, salsa , viennese waltz, cha- cha- cha , jive and charleston .
We have worked with 2 couples for this week - Miss Lebanon 2015 Valerie Abou Chakra and her new pro partner Abdo Dalloul and the actor Nicolas Mezher with Zeina Assaf .
Valerie and Abdo had the previlege to open the show which is not always an easy task , especially for a new partnership . They performed the cha- cha- cha this week and there were lots of expectations about their performance . As usual , Valerie did a great job , showing some great footwork and beautiful lines . The judges comments were mostly about the characterisation of the dance and they expected to see a bit more dynamic in her performance . Great job though !
Nicolas & Zeina were dancing the Jive , which is one of the biggest challenges for the stars in terms of stamina , energy and actions . Their performance had some great and some not so good moments which Nicolas explained with his excitement - sometimes he couldn't control it and he had problems with the timing . But his presence and approach to dancing is undeniably cute and that makes everything he does fun to watch .
When it came to announcement of the results two couples were put in the danger zone - Nicolas & Zeina and Lady Madonna & Martin Rycroft . While everyone was wondering who is gonna go out it turned up it was a surprise for Lady Madonna's birthday today , no one was going out this week , a big cake was brought on the dance floor and everything turned into a birthday party which lasted even when the cameras stopped ! What a night !
Would like to say a special Happy Birthday to our beautiful , loveable , caring , sweet ,the one and only Lady Madonna ! It's very seldom that we happen to meet people like her -she is a true artist and great inspiration ! Love you Lady Madonna ,Happy Birthday !
The couples have returned to their original partners after tonight but although there was no elimination that live ,the judges scores from tonight will be added to their results next week. And though it will be Christmas special , one couple will have to leave the show . Don't miss it , the team is working on some great Christmas numbers !
