Dancing With The Stars ME - week 6
Dancing With The Stars Middle East is now half way through !
Last week was live 6 of the show and we are exactly 6 weeks away from the final of the season .
The competition is getting stronger and stronger between the couples as they are all improving week by week .
This episode we had choreographed two routines for the couples and a professional group number .
After this live Nicolas Mezher & Amanda Abirached are now officially the " prom couple" of this season , as this was the concept for their foxtrot to " Marvin Gaye " . We are really happy with their performance and the overall look of the dance - the idea , the story development ,the choreography , the song , the graphics ... everything worked together so well ! It was fun to watch , the chemistry between Nicolas & Amanda was great and his improvement was noticed by the judges .They gave him his highest scores so far and in deed that was his best dance since the beginning of the season !
The last to perform from the couples on the night were Marc Hatem & Sandra Elia . Following the great performance from last week with the Paso Doble , everyone was expecting to see how they will do this week . Marc & Sandra had to perform the Samba which usually is a difficult task especially for male celebrities .But have to say that was a great Samba - all the way through some very good actions , lots of content and the chemistry between the two of them was on fire ! They finished second on the leader board for the night and proved once again that are force to be reckon .
The elimination this week put in the danger zone Lady Madonna & Abdo Daloul and Pierrette Katrib & Raed Mourad .
While giving the audience the chance to vote and make their final decision every week there is a professional group number . This week it was our turn - the dance was a commercial Paso Doble to the song " Shut up and dance " .Have to say it's a very good topic when it comes to dancers having to deal with all the unnecessary talk during practice or prior to performances / competitions . We have choreographed this number two months ago but due to change of concept , props and costume had to do it all over again on Monday before the show and it was almost as if we did a completely new routine for a couple of hours ! . Thanks to the efforts of everyone who works in the show , as we always say TEAM POWER ! , the final result was great !
After the results were calculated we had to say " Good bye " to Pierrette & Raed tonight - it was pleasure to work with her and her elegance , sophisticated style and approach to dancing will be missed .
Next week is promising to be very interesting as it is going to be the " Switch up " week on DWTS ! The couples will swap partners and everyone is already curious , who will they be dancing with , which dance and how the new couples are going to look !
