Dancing With The Stars ME - week 4

The days between the shows go by so fast - we choreograph the new routines ,we work on concepts ,have meetings ,go to the practice of the couples and all of a sudden it's Saturday and we have to do blocking on stage for the live the next day !

Last Sunday it was show 4 on Dancing With The Stars Middle East with the 10 remaining couples . Unfortunately Pierrete Katrib and her pro partner Raed Mourad had to withdraw from performing this week due to Pierrette 's injury but the doctors said she needs some rest and will be able to continue the show from next week .

We had worked with 4 couples for that episode choreographing a paso doble , quickstep , jive and a foxtrot .

The opening number of the night was the quickstep of Nicolas Mezher & Amanda Abi Rached ,dancing to " Little Talks " . That was their first ballroom dance in the show and have to say they did well ,having in mind that our concept tied them to each other with ropes ,both arms , throughout the whole routine .

Our second ballroom dance for the night was the foxtrot of Bonita Saade & Mike Poladian . They danced to a beautiful arabic song and had some really nice moments , especially the way Bonita was shaping her arms when out of frame .

Badih Abou Chacra & Sandra Abbas this time had the paso doble to " Pompei " . They gave another strong performance full of character and content and the judges gave them the highest scores of the season so far -three " 9" and one "8" .

The " final word " of the night had Rym Saidi and her professional partner Martin Rycroft . The song , the concept and the choreography suited them so well and it looked as if they are really enjoying their Jive .

What was new in this episode was that the audience could actually put scores on each of the performances by voting on line and their points were added to the judges scores . That made everything even more interesting and it was a motivation for all the couples as the audience gave to all of them scores higher than those of the judges .

But this was only half of the result and as usual people voted for the other 50 % . In the bottom two this night ended up Bonita & Mike and Nicolas & Amanda . After the pro dance that gives the audience the chance to make their final decision we had to say " Good Bye" to Bonita & Mike . That was unexpected for many as they were first last week with their Jive but it's another proof that every week is a new week ,a new task and all the couples have to work hard to remain in the competition as there can always be surprises .

Talking about surprises make sure you don't miss the show next week as it will be Halloween week on DWTS and there will be lots of them !
